Since it is American Heart Month, we are going to try our best to keep you all motivated as you work out so you can stay as healthy as possible. Let’s face it, it is hard at times sticking to your workout routine—there are so many other things you could be doing, like relaxing from your long day! Working out and staying healthy will actually make you feel more energized and allow you to get a better night’s sleep—keep that in mind! Still not able to work out to your fullest potential? Having the right playlist to listen to can help keep you pumped up as you exercise.
There is definitely something on this list for everyone and all will get you motivated!

Not all of those songs may be your style, but they are great suggestions, if I do say so myself. If you would like to create your own playlist there are a few guidelines you can follow:
– Make sure you have variety—this will help keep your interest levels up and increase performance. It could be helpful to change up your playlist occasionally as well
– Choose songs that inspire you—can’t help you out with this one, you know what songs have meaning to you. These songs will give you drive to keep going if they have special meaning to you
– Select songs that are associated with physical activity (classic example: “Eye of the Tiger”)
– Synchronize the tempo of the music with the exercise you are doing—when you want to slow down, choose a song with lower beats per minute (bpm)
Working out is a necessary evil to some of us, so you may as well make the most out of it and have fun while doing it!
