Your partner in success on every level,
Dear TLS Team,
TLS has completely changed my life. Before I was introduced to the TLS Weight Loss System I was very ill. Besides the chronic knee pain, residual pain and discomfort from a broken leg that left me with 8 screws and a plate for the repair, and celiac disease, I had severe adrenal fatigue. My daily pain was high, averaging an 8 on a scale of 10. My energy level was bottomed out. I was sleeping 12 hours nightly and taking naps. I couldn’t work more than 4 hours a day. I’m a personal trainer. I couldn’t lift weights, even small ones, without being sore for three weeks. I didn’t know what to do. I honestly thought I was on the road to disability at 45 years old.
After my first 12 weeks with TLS I changed my body fat composition. I was one of the “skinny fat” people. At 36% body fat and weighing 135 pounds I knew I was in dangerous territory. That first 12 weeks took 8 pounds of fat off and put on 6 pounds of muscle. As I mentioned before I was unable to exercise. This drastic shift in body composition was astounding.
I continued to follow the Rapid Results meal plan and took ACTS, B-Complex, OPC-3, and multivitamin religiously. In one year my energy levels were approaching normal. I chose to start exercising instead of adding work hours. I knew with the adrenal issues it was a choice I had to make. I started running. I had never been a runner before. With the orthopedic issues some might see this as a risk. I had a dream and I had goals. I used the couch to 5K program and began my journey as a runner. Six months later I ran my first race ever, a half marathon.
Today, 4 years into my running adventure, I have completed 8 half marathons, one full marathon, two 30K trail races, one 12K race, and two 5K races. The 12K and the two 5K runs I did with clients who did not feel they could do it. The feeling that I could coach them was beyond euphoric. I love running. I am so grateful to have found distance running. Do I run pain free? No. Do I love my runs start to finish? No. Just like many distance runners I struggle with the first couple of miles. Once those miles are complete though, I am happy and free.
It is this amazing transformation, facing possible disability to distance runner full of life and energy, that fuels my passion and drive to Coach others and Train new Coaches with the TLS Weight Loss System. The body composition? I am currently 25% and still weigh in at 135 pounds. I have been steadily trading fat for muscle. I cannot think of a better life for myself. I am living my passion daily.
